Weekly Notices for Sunday 11th December 2016

MANY THANKS TO ALL who contributed in any way to the Victorian Market, including the preparation, the manning of stalls, the clearing up, and reorganising of the Church after this splendid event.  All help was very much appreciated.  The  healthy sum of £3,500 was raised for St Giles’.

MOTHERS’ UNION CHOIR  We are invited to lead some Carol singing at the Memory Café on Tuesday this week, at 2pm.  Please come if you possibly can.

SCHOOLS’ CELEBRATIONS  This week, Acton Park, Gwenfro and St Giles’ Schools will each be celebrating Christmas here.  We welcome all the pupils, teachers and parents who will be sharing the glory of this place.

CHRISTMAS LUNCHES   The Mothers’ Union Lunch tales place at Rossett Hall tomorrow at 1.30pm. Our St Giles’ Church Lunch is on Thursday at 12pm in the South Aisle on Thursday.  Please make sure that you have booked with Stella  for the latter –  £8 (£10 for friends).

NEXT SUNDAY  we shall be holding our Nine Lessons and Carols Service at 3pm, and so begins our journey to Christmas Eve, with the Crib Service at 4pm, the Midnight Service beginning at 11.30pm and our Christmas Eucharist at 10am.

RAFFLE PRIZE  Janice Roberts holds a winning ticket!  Unfortunately we have no further details and cannot let her know.  Can anyone help to identify her please?
