Weekly Notices for Sunday 18th December 2016

NINE LESSONS AND CAROLS   This afternoon,  we hold our annual service of Lessons and Carols at 3pm, when we will be welcoming the Headteacher and some of the pupils of St Giles’ School among the Readers.  Please come if you can to this important preparation for Christmas.

HELPING THE HOMELESS   Many thanks for all the continuing contributions.  Could we please concentrate on Mars bars and protein bars?  They are readily obtainable in  Pound Shops and Paul Thorpe tells us that they are particularly short of them at the moment,

CALLING ALL KNITTERS!   We have a large amount of wool at our disposal, and it is offered to anyone who could knit fingerless gloves and/or hats. These also are for the relief of the homeless on the streets of Wrexham. Please see the Wardens or Stella if you can help.

WREXHAM YOUTH ORCHESTRA CONCERT  We are very pleased to be welcoming this very enjoyable event once again to St Giles’ tomorrow (Monday) evening, celebrating the talent and dedication of our young musicians and all their tutors.

PRISON CAROL SERVICE.  If you would like to attend this service at the Prison on Wednesday afternoon at 5pm, please give your names to the Wardens or Stella or Ann by tomorrow (Monday) morning at the latest.
