    Our most usual line-up is six minstrels/troubadors with instruments including psaltery, lute, harp and vielle but we can field from two to six minstrels depending on the event and your budget.

    We dress in authentic medieval costume and play a variety of medieval and early renaissance instruments including vielle (medieval fiddle), recorders, rebec, dulcimer, gemshorn, lute, harp and bagpipes.

    Our singing includes a capella (unaccompanied) part songs, catches and rounds as well as songs accompanied by lute, harp and other instruments.

    Founded in 1990 by the celebrated conductor, Jean Stanley Jones MBE, Cantorion Sirenian Singers are a choir of some 50 voices based in North East Wales.

    Achieving international recognition on the competitive and concert platforms, they are recognised for their unique sound, excellent technique and breadth of repertoire, achieving particular recognition for their promotion of Contemporary Welsh music.

    Remembering the actions of Christ as he washed his disciples feet, in this service the clergy follow his example. The service will include a celebration of the Eucharist, and the stripping of the alters, leaving the Church bare for Good Friday.

    There will be a vigil following the service until 9pm.

    This service is a long meditation on the last hours of the Cross. People are able to come in and out of the service as they would like, though we do ask people to do so during the music.

    This service heralds the returning of the light by the lighting of a fire, from which candles will be lit to take the light into Church. The light symbolising the return of the light in Christ.

    This service will be followed by a vigil, a time of watching in prayer, contemplating the actions that Jesus took in his last days.

    There will be a short gap between the service and the vigil so that those that want to leave may.
